How long have you been in business?
The Womens Injury Law Center at Cantor Arkema has been in existence since 2003. The underlying law firm of Cantor Arkema was founded inteh early 1970s.
What is your primary product or service?
We handle all types of personal injury cases (vehicular accidents, premises liability, products liability, injuries to children and civil recovery for rape and sexual assault) as well as severe medical malpractice cases and compelling employment discrimination cases.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I am the Director of the Womens Injury Law Center and felt there was a need for compassionate, but experienced and sophisticated legal representation of women and children. But we represent a whole lot of men as well. I graduated from the College of William and Mary, and then UVA Law School and then clerked for the Chief Justice of the Virginia Supreme Court. I have been in practice over 20 year.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We really really care about our clients and, therefore, are responsive to their needs. We have an outstanding reputation to uphold and, therefore, are straight shooters about case evaluation and time frames. Because we have an outstanding reputation, on average we also obtain higher monetary results for our clients.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We are located in Richmond but represent clients all over Virginia and even in other state.

We are located in the Bank of America Center in downtown Richmond at 1111 East Main Street on the north side of the building and 1111 East Cary Street on the south side. Most of our cases are done on a contingency basis with no payment up front required.

What are your hours of operation?
Our normal hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. - but we also provide weekend and evening as well as emergency hours.
